Surgeon Scientist, Innovator, and Technology Transfer
about my

work & experience

I wear multiple caps at work:

01 IMAGE-GUIDED SURGERY

In my role as an image-guided surgeon, I leverage the power of medical imagery with a procedural mindset, focusing on enhancing the risk:benefit ratio. Through dedicated research, development, and dissemination efforts, my commitment lies in advancing the field of image-guided surgery and intervention.

02 TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH

As a translational research scientist, I apply scientific research findings to pioneer innovative surgical techniques, medical systems, and procedures. My focus is on facilitating the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies while minimizing the risk of failure, ultimately striving to impact patient outcomes.

03 PRECLINICAL SCIENCE

As a GLP (Good Lab Practice) study director, I work with both academic and industrial research teams to assess medical devices. I am in charge of the design of the study plans, the evaluation of collected data, and the creation of final reports, drawing conclusions on the safety and performance profiles of the devices.

04 TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

As an innovation manager, my commitment lies in connecting state-of-the-art technologies with validated clinical needs. Relying on my clinical expertise and training in business, engineering, and surgical technology transfer, I focus on seamlessly bridging the gap between R&D and clinical applications.
